The seams are thus avoided, with the advantage of substantially increasing the hold of the feathers inside the chambers. The fabric undergoes a ‘ciré’ finish to achieve a shiny appearance. The finished garment is padded with direct injection with the finest feathers, specifically treated to resist garment dyeing. The addition of a special PFC free agent to the dye formula makes the piece anti-drop. Packable; the folded jacket can be stowed in its inner pocket. Hood edged in elasticated tape.
